Drill driver
Drill drivers
The drill driver combines drilling and screwdriving functions in a single tool, offering versatility without compromising performance. Makita's range, which boasts electronically adjustable speeds, allows the tool to be adapted to different materials, from low speeds ideal for screwdriving to the high speeds needed for effective drilling in metal or masonry.
The self-tightening chuck allows you to change bits and inserts in seconds without the need for additional wrenches. Professional models use metal chucks with precision mechanisms that ensure perfect centering of the tool, reducing vibration and increasing hole accuracy.
The adjustable clutch with multiple torque settings is a key feature for screwdriving operations, preventing damage to screw heads or the material being worked. More advanced models offer up to 20 adjustment levels plus a direct drilling position, which completely bypasses the clutch.
The function selector found on the more complete models allows you to quickly switch from screwdriver to drill mode and, in some cases, to a light hammer function, useful for drilling in hollow brick or aerated concrete. This versatility reduces the need to constantly change tools during jobs requiring different operations.
The meticulously designed ergonomics translate into contoured handles with non-slip surfaces that ensure comfort and control even during prolonged use. The optimal balance between the body and battery reduces wrist fatigue, which is particularly important during repetitive tasks.
The integrated LED lighting is particularly useful in tight or poorly lit spaces, improving precision and safety while working. In more advanced models, the LED stays on for a few seconds after the trigger is released, allowing you to check the results of your Makita tools.
